Wilson High School                Washington D.C.            $95 Million
Major renovation and new construction of 400,000 SF high school with 5 buildings connected by multilevel corridors.  Unique features and challenges included an 11,000 SF inward sloping skylight over an existing courtyard and supported by 4 stories of steel, the conversion of columns and beams into trusses, green roofs and a greenhouse.  Original buildings constructed in 1935.

Savoy Elementary School            Washington D.C.      $28 Million
New construction of multi-building, multi-story 100,000 SF elementary school that required a complete gutting of the existing buildings and carbon fiber structural strengthening.    Construction was masonry and steel framing with reflective roofs to meet LEED requirements.

Rose Hardy Middle School            Washington D.C.    $20 Million
Renovation of 120,000 SF existing middle school after previous contractor terminated.  Contract required re-procurement of all trades and settlement with previous subcontractors.


Loudoun County Middle Schools        Loudoun County, VA                $36 Million
Renovation and new construction on four middle schools at four geographic locations totaling 800,000 SF.  Schools were occupied with the majority of work having to be phased and performed during off school hours.  Work included adding sprinkler systems throughout, upgrading kitchens and auditoriums and bringing toilets up to code.

Sycolin Creek Elementary School        Loudoun County, VA                $20 Million
New construction of a 90,000 SF elementary school that required the building to be completed in eight months.  Additional work included VDOT road alignment and widening to provide safe access to the school.

Rolling Ridge Elementary School        Loudoun County, VA                $21 Million
Sugarland Elementary School

Renovation and new construction at two occupied schools with each school being 75,000 SF.  Work included complete new roofs and new gymnasiums.


Old DC Courthouse Parking Garage        Washington D. C.                $16 Million    
New construction of 90,000 SF Underground Parking Garage including plaza for DC Courts in a security sensitive area.

Patterson Elementary School              Washington D. C.                      $16 Million
New construction of 81,000 SF elementary school for The United States Army Corps of Engineers.  Unique elements were bearing walls of low compressive strength (2,000 PSI) concrete panels – 2 feet wide - fabricated off site and set in place with a crane and supporting precast hollow core plank and a curved metal roof.

New construction, renovation and site wwork for a retail shopping center.
